Some breeds can be harder to housetrain than others, especially some of the smaller breeds, the bladder being smaller can make the training process a little longer. If you stick to the golden rules and do not sway from them, you will get there.

Rules:
1. Do not let the puppy have full access to all the house, contain the problem a little to make things easier on all of you.

2.  Put the dog outside after meals, after waking from sleep and when you see her sniffing and walking in circles.  Stay outside with the pup for 2-3 minutes and watch her.  If she toilets praise her lavishly and give a tasty treat (small piece of cheese, or liver, something small).  You have 2 seconds in which to reward the toileting, so its no good telling her she is brilliant and calling her to you to receive the treat, as she will associate the treat with coming to you, not toileting. If she does not go to the toilet in 2-3 minutes, bring her back inside and keep her with you, repeating the process within 20 minutes or before if she shows the signs.

3.  When you have accidents indoors, do not be angry, do not even show displeasure on your face! Do not let the puppy watch you clear it up. Clean it with 1 part biological washing powder mixed with 4 parts water as this eliminates the scent, which she will want to repeat on.

Now she is getting 100% attention and treat for outside. Nothing inside, not even the scent left around.
